While the grounds are lovely, the strict check-in times can feel a bit rigid, especially if you arrive late or unexpected. Driving is necessary for evening meals due to limited on-site dining options, which some might find inconvenient after a day of exploring. some rooms, like the Chillingham, could use better bedside lighting for reading, and the absence of a bath in a spacious bathroom felt like a missed opportunity. Lastly, being away from major attractions requires careful planning to avoid long drives, which might put a damper on spontaneous adventures.

Nestled in beautiful gardens, Chatton Park House offered us a tranquil escape. The breakfast was a feast of fresh options, and the comfortable lounges turned our stay into a rejuvenating experience.

While our stay was fantastic, the access road’s narrowness made us hesitate each time we drove back. A minor inconvenience in an otherwise pleasing stay.

I had a lovely 4-night stay. The luxury suite was spacious with a super-king-size bed. Breakfasts were delicious, offering plenty of choices, and my hosts were super welcoming. The grounds are beautiful and quiet, perfect for relaxation. I highly recommend this charming place! 🌳

The breakfast spread was exceptional, featuring homemade jams and the most delightful tomatoes I've ever tasted.

The driveway leading up to the property can be a bit tight, making navigation slightly challenging for larger vehicles.

During my stay, I was delighted by the beautiful accommodations and the host's thoughtful touches, like mulled wine upon arrival, which made me feel extra welcome. not to mention the ideal jump-off point for discovering attractions like Chillingham Castle, just over 3 kilometers away, and the quaint Belford Museum, about 6.5 kilometers away, perfect for an afternoon stroll through local history.

Just a reliable pick for exploring town in Chatton with value for money. The toiletries were high quality and refreshing, making our stay more comfortable. Try to arrive during daylight hours for easier navigation on the narrow access road.

Only thing was that the breakfast didn’t really impress. Loved the picnic area too, perfect for a chill time outdoors!
